About Us
Why Growth Therapy?
We are a family based business, supported by our lovely volunteers. Here at Growth, we offer person-centred counselling and horticultural therapy at our beautiful gardens, one situated in Dalton and the other on the outskirts of Barrow. We are friendly and approachable, fully insured and all our staff and volunteers have an enhanced DBS. Clients can learn basic gardening techniques and experience growing food in a calm, peaceful environment with one-to-one support. These skills can then be transferred to their own home and other aspects of their life. We also offer person centred counselling with our therapist Mike, this can be at either of our calming and private locations. Sessions are provided on a bespoke basis and tailored to the individual. Every new client is entitled to a free introductory session with no obligation to continue further.
